Size value

The size number is a non-negative numerical value, which defines the number of significant items for a data type. Significant items are number of decimals for numerical values, the number of characters for character or string values (without respect to the coding type) and the number of display characters for date, time and date/time values.
For complex data types, enumerated data types and Boolean values the size value is obsolete.
